Last week, Malaysian writer-musician and a friend of mine Sona One was pulled out of his car and attacked without warning by Tunku Mishal Ibrahim, a member of the Johorean Royal Family. He was bashed Sona One to the ground and continued to crush his head leaving him with fractured cheekbones.

Alhamdulillah the worst is now over and a police report has been filed, however this isn’t the first time Tunku Mishal Ibrahim has assaulted someone yet no action has been done against him.

It’s unacceptable how members of the Malaysian royalty and those of higher social rankings abuse their power. No one should be entitled to a free pass over the law and action needs to be taken not only by friends and family of Sona One but the public as well - stand up for equal human rights!

I invite everyone to share his story and spread the love.
